As we know that summer is just around the corner, we are delightful to present about the fashion trend which was taken from our trend reports. In this summer, we have seen many brands are likely repeating fashion from the past and developed the ideas to their latest collection. From runaway, they collections seemed sophisticated and modern. However, if we could see the ideas behind the designs, it is obvious that they used different elements from a certain era and tried to implement those into their creatures.

We saw several brands have successfully adapted to the trends, while others will take long time to get audience understand about the concept of the idea. Take Chanel, for example. Karl Lagerfeld obviously seemed takes the design concept based on his photography result from his world tour. If we look back into last two years, Chanel collection seemed embrace the culture of different areas. Many fashion brands take the same patch as Chanel by imitating the concept. Therefore, in the first issue of MONAVI we presenting the trend summary that we have concluded from runaway, street style and pop culture fashion style.

Summer is about to begin. It is time to know what’s trending in Summer 2016. As the several brands have launched their summer collections, we would like to pick summer trends that might inspire you. You might have been familiar with these trends, most of them have returned from the other era. Here is the reference of fashion that helps you on the fashion track.

Illusion to the eye print

Prints and loose dress fabric were predicted to be seen at every clothing store. This kind of festival dress has been produced for these several years. The reflection of pattern when meets any lights give the illusion of wave in the ocean. Also the blue colour makes the illusion becomes stronger. The material which made by silk, resulted chic impression when the wind flies the tail of the dress. Suitable to be worn with white pigalle heels and an envelope clutch, would be the best choice while doing an errand in the afternoon or having a cocktail party during this summer.

Hand Painted Denim

It seemed that denim becomes more attracting for fashion designers and retailers. Inspired by the style at 80-90’s where denim was very popular at the disco era, nowadays, the version of denim becomes more varied. Started from torn until hand painted jeans have been filling up the street style. Kanye West has launched The Life of Pablo hand painted jacket in this March which gained successful sales. It can be seen that the design is tempting for shopper which mainly youngster. Followed by Kanye West successful sales, many designers and retailers also chose to launch denim painted jacket. The painted jacket is suitable for people who like to style in edgy streetwear.

Vehicle Prints

It might be tacky to use automotive print for some people. Yet, Chanel never goes out of style. In the Cruise 17 fashion show, Chanel created more printed clothing which is painted by Cadillac car. This is not the first time that Chanel is inspired by vehicle prints, on the Spring Summer 16, they created airplane print in the most of their collection. It is suitable for you to go on summer vacation. This skirt is suitable to be matched with bare shoulder shirt, a mini sling bag and chic sandals. Making summer holiday ambience and giving more spaces which comfortable for strolling around.

Floral Trend

Floral prints are expected will continue to be produced. Influenced by 70’s fashion trend, on the runaway of Gucci Spring/Summer 16 collection, floral prints are often to be seen. After that almost clothing line tend to invest more on floral pattern or embellishment designs. The effect of Gucci makes several retailers tend to follow the trends. Zara, Bershka, New Look and Stradivarius created the jacket with floral prints. Giving the vintage impression by the pastel colour makes this floral printed is estimated will be the “must-have’ product in this Summer.

Grey on Summer

It is very rare that grey colour existed in summer season, it seems just wrong. Grey was expected to be appeared in the any fashion show. The dressmakers such as Céline, Carven and Emporio Armani launched several clothing using grey colour. It seemed so classic and safe. Stella McCartney firstly gave the sign of grey colour during her spring summer ’16 collection fashion show in London Fashion Week 2016. Especially in London, which has bipolar weather, grey colour would be a good choice to wear in cloudy day. However, this Céline dress will never be wrong to be combined with some orange and aqua blue accessories. Don’t let grey colour hide your summer passion.
